Keno Introduction

[ English ]

Keno is a game you either know about or you don’t. It’s typically seen as a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lotto, the game consists of numbers being drawn. The object is to select the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can either be rapid or slow depending on the casino. By betting on Keno on the net you can control the speed of the game. As for me, I like real life keno. You sit in a lounge, if you like, and play. Keno is a game that you do not need to be in the lounge to enjoy and win. For instance, you could purchase a ticket for 20 games and then head off to participate in something else in the casino or even your room if you are staying in the casino.

Keno Game Board

The game is played on a game board. The Keno game board is made up of 80 numbers total – numbered one to eighty. The top forty are referred to as the top half and the second forty are known as the bottom half.

Playing Keno

Each game of Keno plays out the same. The round begins, and 20 numbers are selected. The casino might be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are sucked up and picked, just like the lotto on television. Some other casinos utilize computers. If a number you marked is selected, that’s called a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been picked, the round ends and winning tickets are paid.

There is an abundance of diversity in the game of Keno. For example, you may choose just one number, 2 numbers and so on up to twenty numbers. Usually, you need to hit most of your numbers to win something. For example, if you pick 6 numbers, you will usually need to get three to earn your money back.

Keno Pay outs

The payouts in Keno are pretty good. The probability of getting a win is based on the total numbers marked. For example, if you pick 2 numbers, you will have a six percent probability of hitting your ticket. Each casino’s Keno department has their own payouts. If you are playing online, make sure you look everywhere for the greatest pay outs first.
