Keno Schemes That Win

It may not often be considered the most fun game in the realm of betting, but keno has loads of devout players. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a constantly entertaining lotto-esque game that’s uncomplicated to learn, readily available in lots of assorted formats, and one that can return millions of dollars for players who learn its limitless subtle rules. But let’s start with the beginner’s rules here.

When describing keno to newcomers, some betting pros compare it to lotto. This is at least to a certain degree apt, in that each game is basically numerical. But to carry that comparison too far can be to miscalculate the innumerable unique characteristics that make keno so interesting. Not like bingo, keno players have the ability to select the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the player is accord an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as he or she needs. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your selected numbers with a normalball point pen like you had when you were in school.

After you’ve picked your numbers, carry your keno card back to the nice person at the keno stand. The person will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t misplace this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will get exactly $.00 for your actions.

OK, so there you have strategy numero uno: always make sure to keep your keno slip. Let us get on to something a little more useful, ok?

After you’ve picked your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and see the action take place on the monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed for all to see. If you’ve got winners, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, since a new keno game will most likely begin within five minutes.

Strategy number 2: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to meet that 5 minute margin every time, you always retain the option of purchasing a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from two to twenty cards. When the max amount of rounds (the same as the number of tickets) is completed, you may then get off your numb rump and go redeem your winnings.

Yet an additional opportunity is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number selection for thirty games or more. Hell, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to fret about getting back in time to collect your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

And now you know a handful of indispensable strategies for winning keno. If you are an advanced user, they may appear to be incredibly obvious. Still, it will never hurt to bone up on the basic practices, and if you are a beginner user, every bit of direction will help make your keno games more fun.
