Keno Schemes That Make Money

It won’t often be deemed the most fun game in the arena of gambling, but keno has millions of zealous fans. And so it should! It’s a consistently thrilling lottery-ish game that’s a breeze to master, readily available in a number of alternate variations, and one that may yield mega-dollars for players who learn its uncounted subtle rules. But let’s begin with the basic rules here.

When describing keno to newcomers, some gaming pros compare it to bingo. This is at least to some extent correct, in that both games are fundamentally numerical. But to take that comparison too far can be to underestimate the many unique aspect that make keno so exciting. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the freedom to pick the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is given an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as he or she needs. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your desired numbers with a normal#2 pencil like you had back in school.

Once you’ve marked your numbers, carry your game card back to the person at the keno booth. The person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your winning card.

Now there you have strategy number one: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let’s go on to something a little more advanced, shall we?

After you’ve selected your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and see the action unfold on the keno monitor. That’s where the winning numbers show up for all to see. If you’ve got winners, mark your card aptly. Sake care not to dilly dally, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You are required to get up to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and a new round of keno will almost certainly begin within a few minutes.

Strategy number 2: always be sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Since you do not trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each and every time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 tickets. When the maximum amount of rounds (fitting the amount of tickets) is played out, you can then get off your numb back side and go collect your winnings.

Another option is known as a "stray and play" keno slip, which commonly lets you make number selection for 30 keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take a world tour and not have to worry about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!

And now you are aware of a couple of indispensable strategies for winning keno. If you are a knowledgeable keno player, they might seem to be very obvious. However, it won’t hurt to brush up on the basic practices, and if you are a beginner user, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno gambling more fun.
